May was a record month for Game Pass with 23 new titles added across the service. June is a smaller wave but hits harder where it counts — two JRPG landmarks, a day-one boxing sim and a construction game that's been on wishlists for over a year.
Microsoft confirmed the full Wave 1 lineup covering June 2 through June 16. Here's the breakdown.
Don't sleep on these
Persona 5 Royal lands June 9 on Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass. If you've been waiting for an excuse to play one of the most beloved JRPGs ever made, this is it. Metaphor: ReFantazio left the catalog at the end of May and this is the direct replacement — 100+ hours of content, the Confidants social system and a soundtrack that people still listen to years later. Available on cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Final Fantasy VI arrives June 2 across all tiers. This is the entry a large chunk of the Final Fantasy community considers the best in the franchise — ensemble cast, the Espers magic system and Kefka as one of gaming's most genuinely unsettling villains. If you've only played modern Final Fantasy, this one plays differently and it's worth the adjustment.
The Elder Scrolls Online makes its official PC Game Pass debut this month after being available on Xbox console tiers since 2021. Thousands of hours of content across the base game and all major expansions — Morrowind, Summerset, Elsweyr, Blackwood and more — all included.
